This week home furnishing retailers from France, furniture suppliers in the United States and consumer electronics from Hh Gregg were amongst the top Google home trends.

American furniture supplier ' Thomasville'  was one of this week's top Google trends. Though the store, and the majority of this week's searches, originated in the United States branches of 'Thomasville' can also be found in Europe, South America, Asia (including China) and the Middle East; for more information see: www.thomasville.com .

French home accessories retailer 'Francoise Saget'  was number fifth in this week's charts. The interior accessories store is currently offering discounts of up to 60 percent of a wide range of beds, baths and kitchen accessories. The majority of these sales will be running until early February, but customers are advised to check www.francoisesaget.com (in French only) for more details.   

American appliance store 'Hhgregg' re-appears in the Google home trends at number six, the store frequently offers deals on consumer electronics, household appliances and domestic accessories.

This week's top Google home trend refers to Columbian model Juliana Sossa Toro who was recently alleged to be a suspect in the shooting of football player Salvador Cabanas last year.  

Other popular search terms this week include the Chinese phrase '?????' which loosely translates as ' I am [a member of the] special forces' and refers to a popular film and television series in China; and Japanese term '???????'which loosely translates as ' Maries Hell' and refers to a band of the same name.

The search terms with the most significant growth worldwide in the last seven days as measured by Google Insights under the category Home & Garden, recorded on January 21 at 10:00 AM GMT, are:
