Your support makes all the difference.Google has stuck its finger in yet another pie, this time helping users in the US make financial decisions through product comparisons.
Google first started testing a mortgage comparison tool in 2009 and has since added additional products including credit cards, Certificates of Deposit, and checking and savings accounts.
"Today, we’re rolling these tools into one place: Google Advisor, a site designed to help you quickly find relevant financial products from many providers and compare them side-by-side," announced Google in a May 19 statement.
To find the best deal according to their circumstances, consumers plug in their criteria. Google then shows a side-by-side comparison of the most appropriate financial products for their needs.
Google Advisor joins a growing field of financial recommendation services like Lowermybills.com, CreditCards.com, and Mint.com, which provide customers with better deals and earn money by collecting affiliate fees when they sign up.
Google Advisor is currently only available to consumers living in the US.
