The London Motor Show is the show to end all motor shows. Every other year the world's major car manufacturers reveal their new models here. Prototypes of futuristic production cars will be on show as well as more stately vintage varieties, as will car-related goods of all shapes and sizes. With Hallowe'en on the horizon, Leeds Castle, near Maidstone in Kent, is running Amazing Mysteries, Myths and Legends, a series of presentations on supernatural folklore from all over the world. The Leeds International Film Festival runs for most of this month, with premieres and screenings in abundance. Today's programme includes the US version of Dances with Wolves, Barnabo of the Mountains, Thunderheart and a 3-D screening of the 1953 classic It Came From Outer Space.
