Get married like a royal
American beer brand launches competition for couples to get in with a chance to marry in a castle
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. As one of the greatest Americans to cross the pond in recent years prepares to marry Prince Harry, another American import wants to help another happy couple celebrate like royalty - by giving anyone that wants to get married on 19 May the chance to tie the knot like a Monarch… with their very own castle.
Bud Light announces the chance for a lucky couple to win the grand Pendennis Castle in Cornwall for their wedding day and is offering anybody who is already getting married on 19 May - or anybody who fancies a last-minute wedding - the chance to win it as their wedding venue for their very own fairytale.
In addition to the castle, the winners will get their reception sorted as a three-course feast is provided for all the winner’s guests, a DJ and naturally, a bar full of Bud Light.
The offer coincides with the launch of the popular beer brand’s new 330ml bottle and brand new Dilly Dilly campaign.
Details of the competition can be found in its social media channels.
