After months of speculation and anticipation, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is set to be unveiled today.

Sticking with tradition, the company will reveal their latest flagship smartphone just before the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, which officially kicks off on Monday 22 February.

The 'Unpacked' event will begin at 6PM GMT (7PM local time) on Sunday 21 February, and like usual, it'll be livestreamed, so everyone can watch the unveiling as it happens.

There's two places you can watch the stream - Samsung's YouTube channel and their press site.

However, for the first time ever, the event will also be streamed in 360 degrees - owners of Samsung Gear VR headsets (or other VR headsets) can download the Unpacked 360 View app from the Oculus Store and pretend they're actually there.

If you watch the event on Samsung's website or on the VR app, you'll also be able to choose from four viewing angles - the company has placed three cameras on the stage and one at the back of the auditorium, and you'll be able to switch between them as the event goes on.

There haven't been any official confirmations from Samsung about the event or the phone's specs, but we already know quite a lot from rumours.

It's likely that the company will unveil both the regular Galaxy S7 and the curved-screen S7 Edge at the event, just like they did last year with the S6 and S6 Edge.

Based on leaked videos and pictures, the new phones will look fairly similar to their predecessors. It's also thought that they could boast expandable memory via an SD card slot, an improved camera suited to low-light conditions, and water resistance.
