Apple has previously said that the wearable will launch in “early 2015”, but that is set to mean by the end of March in the US, according to 9to5mac. Employees will be trained on the device in February, it said.
Apple is finishing up work on the watch’s software. It has also been working to test the battery and improve the inducting charging that will keep it charged, which will need to happen every day.
Between February 9 and February 16 representatives from various Apple stores will head to Apple offices in California and Texas to learn about the device.
Apple announced the watch in September, when it said the device would launch in early 2015. That has since been made more specific by the company’s head of retail Angela Ahrendts, who said the device would launch in the Spring, and after the Chinese New Year on February 19.
Prices for the Apple Watch are set to began at $349 (£230), but could run all the way up to $5,000 (£3,302).
