Rockstar is getting into the Valentine's Day spirit by splattering GTA 5 Online's Los Santos with more blood than usual on Friday 14 February, for a limited time bringing in a 'Gusenberg Sweeper' Tommy gun, an armoured limousine and 1920s outfits along with new races and deathmatches.
The game's online environment is set to go a bit Boardwalk Empire as its gets a Roaring Twenties look, complete with gangster suits, flapper dresses and hairstyles and masquerade masks.
"Nothing says “I love you” quite like the warm wooden grip and cold steel barrel of a Gusenberg Sweeper machine gun," Rockstar said of the Valentine's Day special. "Get it from any Ammu-Nation location in GTA Online."
The new vehicle is called an Albany Roosevelt meanwhile, an armour-plated limousine with room for crewmates to hang off the side, and as for the 10 new Jobs there will be fresh deathmatches, parachute jumps and land, sea and cycling races.
All of the 1920s accoutrements will be available for a limited time starting on Friday, but once bought or acquired players will be able to keep them for good.
Rockstar also teased a forthcoming GTA Online content update with the announcement, which there is as yet no date set for but will include a 'Dangerous Business' pack, online heists, an expansion to the Creator tool and more.
