According to a tweet from Mondelēz International, Oreo’s parent company, the two new flavours of oreos are hot chicken wing and wasabi.
The company announced the “innovation sensation” on Twitter, where it shared pictures of its newest creations.
The hot chicken wing oreo features bright orange filling inside of the original cookie, while the wasabi variation is comprised of green filling.
While the flavours are certainly “big and bold”, as Mondelēz International referred to them, people aren’t sure what to make of them.
“Oreo is getting very adventurous,” one person tweeted.
Others questioned if the flavours could be an elaborate early April Fool’s Day joke.
Unfortunately, cookie-lovers may find it difficult to taste-test the unique oreo variations - as they are currently only available in China.
It is unclear whether the flavours will be available in other countries as well.
The Independent has contacted Mondelēz International for comment.
