From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Taste testers are being sought out to review the newest selection of Jack Daniel's whiskey… and you could be one of them.

A competition website has revealed that it's after whiskey fans to try the latest offerings from the Tennessee-based whiskey brand - the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Whiskey and the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire Whiskey.

Applications for the coveted position, which is being advertised on the MyOffers website, are being received until the end of the month.

Once you’ve tasted the two flavoured whiskeys, you’ll even be allowed to keep the bottles free of charge.

If you’re someone who enjoys adding a little spice to your life, then the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire will be right up your street.

For this whiskey, Jack Daniel’s Old No.7 Tennessee Whiskey is blended with a hot cinnamon liqueur for a fiery result.

However, if you prefer something a little sweeter, then perhaps the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey would be a better option for you.

Combining their whiskey with a honey liqueur of their own invention, Jack Daniel’s claims this beverage “offers a taste of the unexpected” with a smooth finish.

While Jack Daniel’s is renowned the world over for their whiskey, the company recently decided to explore other avenues.

In January last year, it was revealed that Jack Daniel’s would be selling their own brand of coffee, made from 100 per cent Arabica coffee, roasted medium and infused with their Old No.7 whiskey.

Despite what you may think, their coffee is non-alcoholic and sold in both caffeinated and decaffeinated varieties.

Jack Daniel's has clarified to The Independent that it is not affiliated with the taste tester offer from MyOffers.
