Fans of the classy establishment say that its breathtaking cuisine matches its sweeping views of the city.

With stunning views of the Hong Kong skyline, Above and Beyond offers some of the city’s most lauded Cantonese cuisine from its executive chef Paul Tsui. His signature dishes include: Crispy chicken, Wok-fried lobster with egg white and black truffles, Wok-fried diced whole abalone with lily bulbs and Asparagus in XO Sauce, Wok-fried prawns with tangerine peel and Fermented black beans.

And Above and Beyond’s afternoon tea is gaining fans in the food world as it presents an offering with a twist thanks to Executive Pastry Chef Danny Ho.

Originally from Malaysia and yet acclaimed for his French pastries, Chef Ho is an expert at incorporating Asian flavours into traditionally European treats.

Expect indulgent sweets such as the Green Tea Choux with Lychee Cream, Black and White Sesame Cake Roll and the 66 per cent Dark Chocolate Ball with Ginseng from this Afternoon Tea set are a testament to this skill.

Guests can also enjoy a series of savoury highlights such as the Deep-fried Wagyu Beef Spring Roll with Black Pepper as well as Smoked Egg with Oolong Tea.
