From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

It's time to hit the sales, dust off some old favorites and don the animal print as new entries and re-entries dominate this week's trends charts.

New entry kaftans take an animal theme, such as tiger print by D&G or giraffe print by Brown's, and top this week's chart. The wild theme continues with snake skin everything - shoes from Jimmy Choo, dresses from Lanvin spring/summer 2011 and clutches from the house of Alexander McQueen.

Polyvore users have been rummaging in the back of their closets as last year's spring/summer trends - off the shoulder dresses, jumpsuits and jean jackets, all make re-entries in this week's charts.

Victoria Beckham, cover girl of British Vogue's February edition, enters this week's Polyvore chart at number ten with her longstanding self-titled brand. Despite rumors to the contrary, Vogue reports that Victoria Beckham will not be showing her latest collection at London fashion week (February 18-23).

Also in this week's charts, New York brand A.L.C. climbs three places to take the top spot, Chloé and Lanvin re-enter the rankings and Miu Miu falls four places to ninth position.
