Andrew Garfield made quite an impression as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK with his eccentric choice attire.

On Thursday evening, the first episode of the UK version of the hit drag queen show aired on BBC Three.

The judging panel featured RuPaul, fellow Drag Race regular and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Michelle Visage, comedian Alan Carr and Oscar-nominated actor Garfield.

The 36-year-old opted for a somewhat casual ensemble for his appearance on the show, wearing a red shirt, brown jacket and a pair of huge, “elephant”, bell-bottom jeans.

Several fans of the show expressed their astonishment over the oversized trousers.

“Happy Thursday to Andrew Garfield and his flared wide-leg denim ONLY,” one person tweeted.

“What a pair of trousers,” another commented on Instagram.

Some were less than enthused over The Amazing Spider-Man star’s choice of apparel.

“I am not ok with this man’s jeans,” one critic wrote on Instagram.

Another described the actor’s sartorial style on Drag Race UK as “questionable”.

Garfield embraced his role as a guest judge with vim and vigour, praising contestants including Baga Chipz and The Vivienne.

Some Drag Race UK viewers expressed their desire for Garfield to be featured as a guest judge on the show again in future.

“I want Andrew Garfield to be a judge every week please!” one person tweeted.

“I nominate Andrew Garfield as a permanent judge on this show. Nay. I’m demanding it. It’s happening,” another remarked.
