From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the siblings behind US label Rodarte are teaming up with & Other Stories on a new high street collection.

LA based Rodarte is well-known for its quirky take on beautiful gowns with an emphasis on craftsmanship.

The collection will include ready-to-wear clothing, accessories and shoes all featuring the signature Rodarte aesthetic.

"Through this special collaboration with & Other Stories, we are excited to translate the Rodarte narrative into a new environment. & Other Stories' unique positioning in the fashion landscape has allowed us to create a truly special collection." commented the Mulleavy sisters.

Although the collection won't hit stores till spring next year, we are afforded a sneak peek of the range in a campaign image which showcases a mis-matched pair of glitter shoes.

The new collection will be part of the store's co-lab line which has seen it collaborate with a string of designers including Clare Vivier and Rachel Antonoff, but Rodarte is one of the most exciting names added to the roster.
