Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Korean-born fashion designer Rejina Pyo has launched an exclusive capsule collection with Net-a-Porter.

Championing a new wave of contemporary designers, luxury retailer Net-a-Porter has launched The Contemporary Collective – a group of 11 capsules from brands who are propelling a new vision for game-changing style. Enlisting the creative minds of some of the most exciting emerging brands including Ganni, Rixo, Staud, Yuzefi, By Far, Wandler and Marques Almeida, the collective focuses on those with instantly recognisable DNA.

Case in point: Rejina Pyo.

A designer who launched her contemporary women’s brand in 2014 with her husband Jordan Bourke, Pyo has become a stalwart among some of the industry’s elite tastemakers from Pandora Sykes to Katherine Ormerod and Kate Foley. And it isn’t hard to see why. Known for her bold colours, subtle girlishness, plays on proportion and enlarged silhouettes, Pyo’s aesthetic appeals to those who want to appear both feminine and strong.
