Model Gigi Hadid confronted a woman who caused a stir by crashing Chanel’s show at Paris Fashion Week.

The French fashion house showcased creative director Virginie Viard’s first ready-to-wear collection for the brand at the Grand Palais.

The finale was disrupted when comedian Marie S’Infiltre climbed onto the runway, dressed in a Chanel-style houndstooth-patterned outfit and a black hat.

Ms S’Infiltre walked down the runway before attempting to join models including Hadid and Kaia Gerber as they posed at the back of the rooftop-themed set.

It was at this point that Hadid stepped out of position to square up to the prankster, placing one hand on her shoulder as she led her off the catwalk.

Several people expressed their astonishment over the appearance of the crasher at the show.

“My goal in life is now to become the Chanel catwalk crasher,” one person tweeted.

“There was a catwalk crasher during the finale @Chanel and I couldn’t stop laughing because the hapless security guards couldn’t spot her in the line-up,” another remarked.

French comedian Ms S’Infiltre has 227,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

The 28-year-old celebrated her Fashion Week antics on Instagram, sharing a screenshot from an article about the incident.

The comedian also shared a series of videos from the show on her Instagram Story.
