Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

The world’s most famous and highest-paid supermodel makes a real bid for pop stardom.

Giselle Bündchen appears dancing on a Costa Rican beach singing Blondie’s Heart of Glass in a music video for H&M’s summer 2014 campaign. Not only she’s the body and face of the new collection, she is the voice too.

This is not her first attempt to indulge fans with her voice, last year she sang "All Day and All Of The Night" by The Kinks for the Swedish brand’s autumn/winter campaign.

The music video begins with the Brazilian supermodel in a music studio saying: "Are you ready Mr Bob Sinclair?" Followed by the supermodel, posing in the sunshine in H&M's swimwear.

The producers of the track, H&M, Bündchen and DJ Bob Sinclair, will donate all to Unicef, as they did with the first song.

Whether it finds itself at the top of charts or not, it's was an opportunity for the Brazilian model to show off something different than that body in H&M's swimwear and for H&M to help a good cause with a campaign.
