Victoria Beckham has paired with online discount designer clothing retailer theoutnet.com to sell the clothing.
The sale is in aid of mothers2mothers a charity which Victoria was introduced to earlier this year following an invitation by Anna Wintour and American Vogue to visit.
The charity's aim is to train and employ mothers living with HIV to educate them in how to prevent transmission of the disease.
‘After spending just a few days with these remarkable women and learning more about the charity from Mitch, and his lovely wife Annie Lennox, I wanted to do as much as I could. It really was a life-changing experience;’" commented Victoria.
For the sale Victoria has selected iconic pieces from her wardrobe spanning the days of the Spice Girls to more recent occasions.
"I laughed a lot when we were going through my wardrobe as the pieces hold so many happy memories for me, David and the children."
"A lot of the clothes have been specially designed for me by the most talented designers and I've loved wearing them, however I now feel it's someone else's turn to enjoy them."
The sale will be a private online sale and users must register at theoutnet.com to have a chance to shop the collection.
The collections includes designer ready-to-wear, costume pieces, coats, dresses, hats, shoes, bags and jewellery. Brands for sale include Roland Mouret and Alexander McQueen.
Particularly iconic pieces include a white Dolce & Gabbana dress worn to the 2003 VMAs and the yellow Roberto Cavalli gown worn to the pre-world cup party in 2006.
To begin the sale 10 of the most iconic pieces will be for sale in a 'Going, Going, Gone' reverse auction whereby the start price will reduce every five minutes.
The charity sale will be available at theoutnet.com/vbcharitysale from 20 to 25 August.
