(2009 Rue La La)

Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Marc Jacobs bags, Dior sunglasses, and Mont Blanc watches: outlets are focusing on accessories this week.

Rue La La

It is still Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Rue La La has teamed up with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to sell off some of the best 'pink products' that have been launched on the occasion (from October 20). One day later, it is accessories galore with Marc Jacobs shoes and bags going on sale, and a specially themed boutique opening on Rue La La, which will sell off handbags by designers such as Kate Spade or Furla.

The Outnet

Net-à-Porter's outlet partner site has half-price Chloé this week and, just like Rue La La, hosts a special handbag sale featuring high-profile totes by Fendi, Marc Jacobs, and Christian Louboutin. A Klein patchwork bag by Marc Jacobs will also be 'auctioned off' in one of the site's Going, Going, Gone sales. These sales resemble a Dutch auction, starting at the original prize of an item and then gradually dropping it until one shopper strikes.

Asos

The online retailer is continuing its mid-season sale, with items now selling at up to 75 percent off.

Shopbop

While last week was all about dresses, Shopbop's sale section focuses on 'sexy tops' this week, with some items in the 'Cocktail Hour & Beyond' category selling at a 70-percent discount.
