This week's top beauty web sales: skincare for the cold winter months
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

BeautyTicket
The site is starting the new year by giving something back: new customers get 10 percent off their shopping by entering 'NEW10' when checking out their first order. If you've shopped the site before, just enter 'THANKYOU' for any order above $30 to also receive a 10-percent discount. Steal of the week is the Jelly Pong Pong Lip Sorbet, which is selling at a truly post-holiday-friendly $2.99 instead of $16.
The Fairest
With just Clarks Botanicals and Cake Beauty selling on the site this week, the Fairest still seems to be in holiday mode while staying true to its organic principles.
The Skinny
Also on the natural side of things, Mbeze skincare is holding a sale at beauty sample sale site The Skinny this week. Shoppers can also get discounts on the wider offer on the label's website: just enter '25' when checking out an order of $100 or above.
Sephora
The beauty retailer is saying 'Good Buy' to 2009 with a selection of items of $10 or under, including brands such as Stila, NARS, and Bliss. This offer is only available on the US site, but the international editions are featuring similar special offers.

The British chain is taking its sale one level further by not only offering beauty products at discounted prices, but also tools - including straightening irons - and glamorous toiletry bags.
Nordstrom
US department store Nordstrom is not only running a winter sale in its online fashion section, but has also introduced a category of 'best beauty buys,' featuring products that save you money if you shop larger quantities.
