A line-up of female stars from the worlds of fashion, film and music have been honoured at this year's Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards last night at Claridges in London.

Lara Stone has been named Model of the Year and Mary Katrantzou won the Breakthrough Designer Award, while Ellie Goulding, who will perform at the Victoria's Secret Show next week, was crowned Best Musician decked in a crisp white floor-length gown. Actress Sienna Miller was given the British Actress Award for her roles in Mississip Grind, Burnt and American Sniper.

American actress Nicole Kidman, who is currently starring the West End's Photograph 51, went home with the Theatre Icon Award, and Oscar-winning Kate Winslet was presented with the British Icon Award.

Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, who stars in this year's Burberry's Christmas campaign, received the Television Icon Award, and co-star Lily James was given the Breakthrough Award.
