From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. If you didn't manage to get your hands on a pair of Kanye West's sell out Yeezy Boost 350 trainers now there's a second chance, with a black edition going on sale this weekend.
The knitted sneakers designed as part of Kanye West's collaboration with Adidas Originals were originally released in June with unprecedented global demand for the trainers.
The trainers are currently selling on ebay for an average of £400 per pair. That's a £250 mark up on their £150 RRP.
But there's no need to pay out over the odds because this Saturday (August 22nd) another drop of the shoes will be hitting stores.
The black version of the lo-top Yeezy Boost 350 will hit stores globally on Saturday available through the Adidas Confirmed app (a unique trainer reservation system for shoppers in New York, LA and Chicago) and in major stores across the world.
If you'd like the chance to get your hands on a pair in Blightly there's a whole myriad of stockists - first and foremost adidas.co.uk as well as flagship stores in Fouberts Place, Oxford St and Whitechapel in Liverpool.
In addition selected retail partners will also be stocking the shoe. The full list of which is below:
