Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Jourdan Dunn has revealed plans to launch a line of clothing for children and young adults.

Rather than go down the collaboration route like fellow model Kate Moss who teamed up with Topshop, Dunn is going it alone and launching a new venture.

Storm model management, who represents Dunn confirmed yesterday that the model has signed a licensing deal with Fluid World who are best known for their work with the Hello Kitty brand.

Aimed at children and teenagers, the range will be an extensive collection of fashion and accessories with a more premium design element.

“I love kid’s clothes and have been obsessed with them ever since my son was born. Through my career in fashion I have come to love and respect great design, and as a mum I also expect great quality and value for money, as well as the coolest clothes for my son Riley. I am thrilled to be working with Fluid World, and I am looking forward to developing my own collection and turning my ideas into reality.” Dunn commented.

The 24 year old model is one of the biggest names in British modelling, with countless catwalk appearances, editorial shoots, and campaigns under her belt including Maybelline New York which she became the face of last year.

Earlier this year she became the first solo black model to star on the cover of British Vogue in 12 years.
