From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Following Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss’ joint campaign for the My Burberry fragrance earlier this year, Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn are the latest modelling duo to unite, this time for Burberry’s spring/summer 2015 colourful campaign.

Burberry seems to have found a winning formula by enlisting a legendary supermodel with a rising star in the fashion industry – both being celebrated British talents.

The pair were shot, of course, by the brand’s favourite photographer Mario Testino and chief creative for the campaign, which highlights the brands’ colourful take on the iconic trench coats for spring.

"Naomi and Jourdan - two great British icons, two strong, beautiful women and the two perfect faces for our new campaign. It is, as always, real privilege to work with them," said Christopher Bailey, CEO and Creative Director of the brand.

Campbell, 44, and Dunn, 24, are both London-born, what makes them the perfect fit for the heritage brand, which is known for utilising home-grown talent in its campaigns.

Dunn told Vogue: "Burberry is such an iconic brand and I feel very proud to be a part of their campaign and their team.

“This campaign is even more special for me because I was shot with Naomi Campbell for the first time - someone who I admire and respect within the fashion industry."

The campaign also features other British talents - from the music industry: George Barnett, drummer for These New Puritans (who’s also the current face of the Burberry Brit Rhythm perfume), and George Le Page, drummer in Of Empires (who also appeared at the Burberry Prosum menswear spring/summer 2015 show).

This is Campbell’s second campaign for the brand; her first was in 2001 in which she starred alongside Moss. For Dunn it is her fourth appearance for the brand, as she’s become a favourite for the label, alongside her pal Delevingne.

Campbell said: "I admire what Christopher and the entire Burberry family are doing so it's great to be back working with the brand again.

"We've all witnessed the evolution of this great British brand and it is a privilege to be a part of its continuing progress within the world of fashion. It is always a pleasure to work with Mario Testino; we came up in the business together 28 years ago, so have an understanding and ease in working together. His photography is special and the results are always stunning. And I was thrilled to work with Jourdan Dunn for the first time - it was a lot of fun. But above all, it's always rewarding for an artist to work on a campaign for a world-class product."
