By far the most eagerly anticipated of all collaborations is H&M's. The high street store has a decade under its belt of attracting impressive high fashion houses. This season is the turn of Balmain.
The Balmain x H&M label was announced earlier this year when the brand's designer Olivier Rousteing attended the Billboard Music Awards with Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner on his arm, decked out in looks from the collection.
Expect to find queues round the block when it hits stores in November.
John Lewis has been quietly flying the flag for British designers - it bought Alice Temperley on board in 2012 and has just announced another iconic British designer - Bruce Oldfield.
Best known for his occasion and bridalwear, Oldfield will join the roster at John Lewis in early September.
Uniqlo is well known for its designer collaborations - next season it will launch a covettable knitwear focused line, designed by Christophe Lemaire (ex-Hermes creative director) hitting stores in October.
And that's not all as the brand has also tapped Carine Roitfeld to bring her signature Parisian-chic to the store.
River Island has just announced the latest designer to join its Design Forum Initiative - Zoe Jordan. The up-and-coming London Fashion Week designer will create an 11 piece capsule collection which will be on sale in September.
