From beauty newbies Julia Roberts and Lady Gaga to industry 'veteran' Vanessa Paradis - here are five of the most eagerly awaited campaigns for next year.

Julia Roberts for Lancôme - The actress will front her first-ever beauty ads for the French brand in what is estimated to be one of the biggest celebrity-fronted beauty deals to date.

Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper for MAC - Both pop icons will lend their faces to the beauty brand's Viva Glam lipstick range, as part of the new 'From Our Lips' campaign, which benefits the MAC Aids fund. Pictures will be released February 25.

Vanessa Paradis for Chanel - France's former favorite lolita, who has previously modeled for Chanel's 'Cambon' bags and its 'Coco' fragrance, will embody the new 'Rouge Coco' lipstick line.

Angelina Jolie for Armani - The US actress will front the label's next women's scent and will also have a say in the creative direction for the campaign.

Charlotte Gainsbourg for Balenciaga - The choice of enthusiastic Balenciaga fan Gainsbourg comes as no surprise to those who know about her admiration for Balenciaga's head designer Nicolas Ghesquière. The campaign will be out in February.
