Shortly after introducing its Facebook Fashion Index (FBI), marketing company Stylophane has launched a similar ranking of most-followed beauty and cosmetics brands, topped by Chanel Beauty and MAC Cosmetics.

Here is the top ten of most-followed beauty brands:

1) Chanel (699,660 fans)
2) MAC (520,278 fans)
3) Carol's Daughter (205,672 fans)
4) Bare Escentuals (122,761 fans)
5) Clinique (82,724 fans)
6) Burt's Bees (79,975 fans)
7) Benefit Cosmetics (61,976 fans)
8) Aveda (56,282 fans)
9) Make Up For Ever (52,710 fans)
10) Estée Lauder (48,397 fans)

Divided into four categories (Platinum: more than 100,000 fans, Gold: 10,000 - 100,000, Silver: 1,000 - 10,000, Bronze: 10 - 1,000), Stylophane's rankings are updated daily (and expressed in graphs), and new brands can be added upon request.
