From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

David Beckham has extended his role at H&M beyond his Bodywear range with a new collection of his favourite pieces.

Beckham, 39, has had a string of appearances for high street retailer H&M since he first launched his own range back in 2012.

Today it has been announced that he will be building on that partnership, not only continuing with his successful Bodywear collection but also with the introduction of Modern Essentials by David Beckham - a specially curated selection of his favourite pieces for the season.

The campaign images have been shot by renowned Hollywood director Marc Forster who directed films such as Quantum of Solace and Monster's Ball.

“I am thrilled to continue and extend my collaboration with H&M by selecting my favourite pieces from this spring’s Modern Essentials collection. Each piece is a new wardrobe classic that will update every man’s spring wardrobe with great style. Marc Forster is one of my favourite directors – I can’t wait to reveal the new campaign with H&M,” commented Beckham.

The new collection is made up of key pieces for spring including a bomber jacket, denim jacket, linen blazer and classic white shirt.

Beckham's Bodywear line has also been updated for the season with extended loungewear offering.
