Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Asos.com will premiere a range of erotic accessories next month, a first for the online retailer.

The shopping website made its name as the go-to online retailer for almost every clothing, accessory and beauty need. Although the site does stock lingerie, it hasn't however traditionally catered to a more risque market.

This is set to change with Gigi Noir landing on the site in September. The range includes multi-use collars, cuffs, headbands, tassels and blindfolds created in sequins, leather and crystal.

Gigi Noir is the diffusion brand from luxury erotic label Holloway Smith Noir which was created by sisters Sophie and Alice Holloway when they saw a gap in the market for high-end accessories.

"The luxury erotic industry is geared towards an older more mature audience who are at a different stage in their economic lifetime. We believe young adults, also deserve access to high quality tease-wear and this belief has lead to our collaboration with ASOS,” commented Sophie on the range.

"Gigi Noir is about reinventing what it is to be young and sexy with confidence. 'Ladies Come First' gives our customers the pleasure-based education to feel confident, not only in our products, but in themselves in the boudoir."

Prices range from £33-£57. The collection will arrive on ASOS.com at the end of August.
