Your support helps us to tell the story

My recent work focusing on Latino voters in Arizona has shown me how crucial independent journalism is in giving voice to underrepresented communities.

Your support is what allows us to tell these stories, bringing attention to the issues that are often overlooked. Without your contributions, these voices might not be heard.

Every dollar you give helps us continue to shine a light on these critical issues in the run up to the election and beyond

Anna Wintour has been appointed the editorial director across all Conde Nast titles.

The editor-in-chief of U.S Vogue is frequently cited as the most powerful figure in fashion.

Wintour is set to extend her reign over the industry with the news that yet another title will be added to her role at Conde Nast.

In a memo sent yesterday to staff by company C.E.O Charles H. Townsend, it was announced that Wintour will replace editorial director Thomas Wallace who is exiting the company.

"Anna Wintour, who last year was named the company’s artistic director, will ensure that our content and culture remain at the forefront of our industry" states Townsend.

"Bob and I will rely on her for her insights and guidance as we build the team that will lead us into the future."

This newest announcement comes after the editor-in-chief's promotion to creative director of the Conde Nast titles.

Wintour has held the role of editor-in-chief of American Vogue since 1988.

For English born Wintour, journalism is in her genes with her father Charles Wintour previously holding the post of editor at London's Evening Standard for 17 years, and her brother Patrick the current political editor of The Guardian.
