Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

British cult dress brand Ghost has teamed up with Marks & Spencer for a line of ten limited-edition floaty dresses.

Launching Thursday (19 November), the collection will include a mix of floral and star-printed designs, as well as the brand’s signature peter pan collars and puff sleeves.

Designed to complement – or create – an hourglass figure style, the dresses are all also silky smooth to the touch thanks to Ghost’s unique garment dyeing process and high-quality fabric.

Ghost is a favourite of Kate Middleton and Holly Willoughby – the presenter often wears them while presenting This Morning – as well as Carrie Symonds and James Bond star Léa Seydoux.

It is much-loved for the contemporary silhouettes and silk-like feel of its dresses, and how easily they are adorned with chunky boots or sandals alike.

Prices will be lower than your average Ghost dress, and will range from £59 to £79 for sizes 6 to 16.

Three of the hero styles from this range will also be available in “mini-me” children’s sizes, matching two of the floral and one of the starry dresses from the womenswear line. Prices will range from £30 to £36.

“We are delighted to collaborate with M&S to offer our signature prints and contemporary silhouettes together in a limited-edition collection exclusively designed for the M&S customer,” Touker Suleyman, the owner of Ghost, has said.

“A confident, feminine aesthetic underpins the collection,” adds Maddy Evans, head of womenswear buying at M&S.

“The ten styles, available exclusively on M&S.com, further elevate our dress offering this season and feature versatile designs that are extremely flattering, easy to wear, and can be dressed up or down; taking you through winter and beyond.”

This is not the first exciting collaboration M&S has released this year – it announced last month that it would be stocking sustainable brand Nobody’s Child on its website.
