From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. As the temperatures rise and we get ready to pack away our winter clothes, fashion fans think they may have found the dress of the summer - and it is only £90.
With hundreds of people fawning over the Mango dress on social media, multiple Instagram stars have already posted snaps of themselves wearing the outfit - and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
The frock, a cream-coloured wrap dress featuring ruffle details, a tied waist and a slit, also happens to be both flattering and sustainable.
Part of Mango’s Committed collection, a sustainable fashion range launched last year by the retailer, the flowy dress is made 100 per cent of lyocell, a man-made fibre made of wood pulp.
And if that weren’t enough to convince you, the photos of influencers rocking the dress will.
Pairing well with sandals or boots, the versatile dress is the perfect lightweight garment for frolicking around this summer, as proven on Instagram.
“This dress is beautiful,” wrote one fan on influencer Roberta Benteler’s Instagram, which featured her wearing the dress with black booties and a straw purse.
Another said: “This outfit is so chic, love it!”
On model Veronika Heilbrunner’s Instagram, she paired the dress with a pink long-sleeved tee, showing off a completely different twist to the outfit.
Garnering thousands of likes on each photo and tons of comments praising the floor-length frock, we imagine it won’t be long before the covetable dress sells out.
Currently, it is available in sizes 6, 8, 10, and 12 - and you can buy it here.
