From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

TV presenter Holly Willoughby was this week revealed as Marks & Spencer’s latest brand ambassador.

Willoughby has chosen her favourite pieces from the autumn collections, launching on September 27.

‘Holly’s Edit’ is part of the brand’s ‘Autumn Must-Haves’ campaign and includes a leopard-print dress, pink coat and checked skirt.

This week M&S posted photos of every item in the collection on its Instagram story, revealing a fishtail skirt, ‘merci paris’ slogan T-shirt and cable-knit jumper as part of the 21-item edit.

With prices ranging from £19.50 to £99 and anticipation building, it's likely the range will be snapped up quickly when it launches online and in-store.

Fans of the brand and the This Morning presenter have expressed their delight at the pairing - and the collection - in their droves.

“NEED this skirt… and coat… and in fact the boots too,” one person commented on Willoughby’s post.

“This new collection is going to bankrupt me,” wrote someone on M&S’s Instagram. “Holly crush.”

“Oooooh I need those chequered trousers and red cable-knit jumper!” added another fan.

Willoughby is considered by many to be a fashion icon - every day, she shares her outfits on Instagram, with fans of This Morning always keen to know where her clothes are from.

“I have grown up with and have always loved M&S, so when they asked me to be a brand ambassador, of course I said yes!” she said.

“I have really enjoyed picking my Must-Haves for Autumn - for me, confidence and great fit are key when it comes to style; I really hope I can inspire people to be brave and have a little bit more fun with their wardrobe.”

Alongside her presenting work, Willoughby is an ambassador two other brands, Garnier and Diet Coke.

Last week she was revealed as the face of Diet Coke and Asda’s Tickled Pink campaign to mark the start of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
