Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Stranger Things fans, prepare to dive right into the Hawkins Community Pool with H&M’s latest range that is inspired by the hit Netflix series.
The high street brand’s capsule collection comes ahead of the programme’s highly-anticipated third season, which will air later this summer, and consists of swimwear, clothing and poolside accessories.
The cult sci-fi series has already proved its influence outside of the small screen, having inspired a legion of fans eager to channel its unique aesthetic via retro bomber jackets, cumbersome scrunchies and varsity sweatshirts.
H&M's offering is logo-heavy – with “Hawkins Pool” emblazoned across T-shirts, swimsuits and trunks – and feature a playful assortment of nostalgic floral prints in homage to the 1980s vibe that characterises Stranger Things.
Swimwear is soaked in vermilion hues that will inject some vibrance into your poolside style. And for those who still feel like they’re missing something from their summer wardrobe, there’s the Stranger Things visor, which will do little to shade your face but much to bolster your sartorial credentials.
The campaign is fronted by actor Dacre Montgomery, who plays Billy Hargrove in the show and poses in an array of sun-kissed settings that evoke a Baywatch-meets-holiday Insta snaps mood.
Prices range from €7.99 (£6.88) to €19.99 (£17.21).
The H&M x Stranger Things collection will be available in H&M stores worldwide, as well as online, from 23 May.
