The Fashion Audit: Mr Groomed / Dead Darcy / Peter's People
What we love, we're not sure about, we're buying and can't wait for...
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. We love ... Mr Groomed

We’re not sure about... Dead Darcy
Not strictly fashion related, but news of the demise of The Audit’s fave modern literary heartthrob in the upcoming Bridget Jones book is very bad. But really it’s good old Bridge we love, big pants and all.
‘Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy’ by Helen Fielding, £9.49, out 10 October, amazon.co.uk
We’re buying... Peter’s People
Peter Jensen is well known for his playful creations; a bunny drawing became his brand’s logo. Now the designer has teamed up with the ethical clothing brand People Tree on a collection that features – you guessed it – his signature bunnies, oh, and also a few bears. Which are you?
From £55, peopletree.co.uk
We can’t wait for... Cheeky chops
Cowshed is the go-to brand for those in need of a little TLC, and now it has a little sister. Cheeky Parlour opens next week in Shoreditch and, in addition to fast and affordable treatments, there’s an array of Cheeky products for sale, too.
Parlour opens 16 October, Redchurch Street, London E2, urcheeky.com
We’re saving up for... Carried away
On reflection, with her flighty ways and terrible puns, Carrie Bradshaw may not be the best role model. But she understood the importance of a good pair of shoes or 300. My-wardrobe.com’s new, improved shoe boutique is enough to bring out the Carrie in all of us.
Heels £470, Proenza Schouler
