If you're going out n' about London this weekend, you might start getting int the Christmas spirit with the many festive decorations lighting up the city. And, if you do visit West London, and the Knightsbridge area, you wouldn't miss Harvey Nichols and Harrod's world-famous window displays.
The British luxury department stores' Christmas decorations are some of the most anticipated of the year.
Harvey Nichols used around one million flakes of glitter, over 300,000 sequins, 15,000 gift boxes, 620 mirror balls, 540 baubles, 15kg of glue sticks and 30,000 staples to create what seems a disco party, decorated with Led lights and well, lots of sparkle.
Harrods, took the theme of 'Once Upon a Christmas' to recreate a mini stage with red velvet curtains and a game of lights. The festive mice that simulated to be Harrods' version of Santa's helpers lates year have reutrned with their leading character, Peter Pumpernickel. The decoration was revealed alongside an animated film to get you in the Christmas mood.
