Women's

Called simply Le Parfum, Elie Saab's debut fragrance developed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian (Narciso Rodriguez For Her, Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier) will be available from July. Inspired by Saab's fashion DNA of red carpet creations, Kurkdjian came up with a flowery-woody composition of orange blossom, jasmine, cedar, patchouli, and rose honey that will come in 30, 50 and 90 ml eau de parfum bottles as well as matching body products.

Marc Jacobs has created a sweeter version of its Lola scent, called Oh, Lola! Marc Jacobs will launch the flanker to 2009's Lola fragrance for women in July. Notes include wild strawberry, pear, raspberry, peony, sandalwood and vanilla.

Coach is readying its Poppy Flower fragrance, a flanker to Poppy, geared towards the Asian market. Notes include wet ivy, grapefruit, mandarin, jasmine, muguet, peony, sugared raspberry, amberwood, musk and sandalwood.

Men's

A flanker to Davidoff's Champion fragrance, Champion Energy, will hit stores in July. Equally developed by perfumer Aurelien Guichard, this new perfume smells of grapefruit, bergamot, galbanum, fresh spices, cedar, and oak moss.

Kenneth Cole will launch Connected Kenneth Cole Reaction, the follow-up to 2004's Kenneth Cole Reaction. It is composed of violet leaves, persimmon, apple, tangerine, lemon, clary sage, cardamom, pistachio tree resin, mahogany wood, tobacco, driftwood, and moss.

Coinciding with its just-opened London nightclub, the Playboy franchise has come up with a corresponding fragrance called London Playboy: pink grapefruit, mandarin, galbanum, rose, cinnamon, Toscanol, Pisco brandy, tonka bean, and Virginia cedar make up this new scent.

Unisex/niche

Hussein Chalayan fragrance launch will release his first signature scent, backed by vanguard Japanese label Comme des Garçons, at London's Dover Street Market. Inspired by his fall 2007 collection that was called Airborne, the fragrance ($95) will carry the same name, featuring notes of neroli, lemon, bergamot, lentiscus, juniper berry, and cedarwood.

Celebrity

The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie will release a flanker to her successful Outspoken scent with Avon, called Outspoken Intense. It's a fruity floral with "a little more edge," with notes including star fruit, blackberry, kumquat, passion flower and musk.
