Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Balmain x H&M is just one day away from hitting the stores and with the eagerly anticipated release of the collection the full price list for every piece in the collection has been revealed.

As predicted many of the statement pieces that feature embellishment, embroidery and are made from premium fabrics like leather and suede come in at a higher price point.

Of the embellished dresses the most expensive one comes in at a staggering £399.99, although the green plunging neckline sequin number is more affordable at £119.99.

Separates including satin blouses, skirts and trousers all average around the £50 mark.

Yesterday also saw the release of a teaser video with behind-the-scenes footage from the video campaign.

Starring Kendall Jenner, the reality-tv star turned model is a favourite of Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing who also stars in the print campaign.

The behind-the-scenes video reveals Jenner strutting her stuff with a troupe of dancers in a campaign video which wouldn't look out of place on MTV.

Tonight the collection makes its debut on the catwalk in a major show staged in New York accompanied by a music performance from a major popstar.

Check back here tomorrow for the full report.
