Your support makes all the difference.London rolled out the red carpet on Sunday night for the 2019 BAFTA Television Awards.
The event, hosted by Graham Norton at the Royal Festival Hall, served as a celebration of small screen talent attracting a myriad of familiar faces, from the cast of hit series like Killing Eve and Bodyguard to presenters such as Holly Willoughby and Claudia Winkleman.
Killing Eve was the biggest winner of the night, taking home the award for best drama series.
Jodie Comer was named best actress while another member of the Killing Eve cast, Fiona Shaw, won best supporting actress.
Bodyguard had been Killing Eve’s main opposition, but it took home just one award – Virgin Media’s must-see moment – for a scene which featured the death of Julia Montague (Keeley Hawes) in an explosion in the BBC One drama.
While the night was all about commending the work of those involved with the entertainment industry, as the stars arrived on the red carpet it was their style that took centre stage.
Leading this year’s best-dressed was Killing Eve star Jodie Comer. Having helped elevate her character Villanelle to style icon status, the actor proved she is a fashion forerunner in her own right wearing a magenta one-shoulder gown by Stella McCartney.
Killing Eve scriptwriter and Fleabag creator, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, also stood out for all the right reasons, sporting a sleek duck-egg blue gown the featured a high-neck and split sleeves.
A number of stars chose to eschew traditional evening gowns this year including Sex Education’s Emma Mackey who opted for a cream and black trouser suit, and presenter Konnie Huq who wore a gold and black jumpsuit.
