Visited new designer shop, Malapa, in trendy Clerkenwell, which opened just a fortnight ago. Malapa wants to establish itself as an outlet for new designers, such as Joely Nian, Justin Oh, Eugene Rocha, Marcus Constable and Anna Scholz, whose pieces in sumptuous fabrics are available in sizes 10 to 20. I don't know, these magazines just can't seem to get enough of old Denise van Outen, who this month is gracing the cover of FHM. I'm oh so tired of seeing the same faces staring at me from the newstands time and time again. Here's my list of girlies who I think should take a six-month cruise to Mexico - preferably sailing through the Bermuda triangle. 1) Denise, as discussed. 2) Tara Palmer Pumkin Bum. 3) Caprice Bourret. 4) Ex wild- child Emma Ridley (who I have never forgiven for stealing my boyfriend). 5) Tamara Beckwith. 6) Sophie Anderton, whose boobies I care to have shoved in my face no longer.

Watch out for Sportmax the younger, funkier label to Maxmara, which is due to be launched at Selfridges this August. The concession in the Contemporary Collections room will house the largest selection of the label. It's pretty gorgeous and includes all those essential pieces for this winter: the perfect tweed mini, V-neck sweaters and devore evening wear.

I've been very busy this week testing out lots of nice make-up things which were kindly sent to me by one of those delightful PR girls. It's amazing the reaction you get when you decide to change your lip colour from beige to red. Anyhow, Iman cosmetics, created by model, actress and wife of David Bowie, of course, is to be unveiled at Selfridges this week. The collection includes lots of yummy things to grace any bathroom cabinet or vanity unit, from cleansing bars and skin freshener to sun protection and tons of cosmetics for women of every skin colour. (Personally, I prefer Agent Provocateur, even though it looks like I'll wait forever for my boyf to buy me undies from there. Not that I can't buy them myself, of course, but one likes to be treated to a bra that costs pounds 70, doesn't one.) M&S have teamed up with the Victoria & Albert Museum, who have allowed them access to their archives, providing M&S inspiration for a collection of lingerie, hosiery, toiletries and slippers. Okay, so it was over a week ago, but I can't seem to put that hideous outfit that Meg Gallagher wore to the PM's soiree at Number 10 out of my mind. I always considered Meg to have pretty good taste. I am obviously wrong. Maybe she went a little crazy and forgot to take a look in the mirror before she left home.
