Emotional e-mail
Your support helps us to tell the story
My recent work focusing on Latino voters in Arizona has shown me how crucial independent journalism is in giving voice to underrepresented communities.
Your support is what allows us to tell these stories, bringing attention to the issues that are often overlooked. Without your contributions, these voices might not be heard.
Every dollar you give helps us continue to shine a light on these critical issues in the run up to the election and beyond

Emotional e-mail
The Samaritans have formally launched e-mail access to their emotional counselling service. Callers can communicate by writing to jo@samaritans.org. "Jo" replies every day. Alternatively, if callers wish to maintain their anonymity, they can write to samaritans@anon.penet.fi and all references to their name are deleted before the message is transmitted. The charity has been running a pilot scheme which, despite no advertising (except via theInternet), generated 526 contacts in six months.
