Other people's pastimes provide an inexhaustible seam of fascination, and the good and the great, the rich and the famous are no exception.
How, for instance, do you think a TV star or a captain of industry whiles a Saturday away? Pops over to Paris, has lunch on Concorde, spends the day at the races, hits Harvey Nicks or books into a health farm?
Well they may not but you could: these are the prizes on offer in our More Independent On Saturday competition, run in conjunction with Virgin Radio.
Each day until Friday we will feature a celebrity and invite you to identify their Saturday pastime. To help you there will be a cryptic clue or two in the paper and an audio clue on Virgin Radio. Today's celebrity is actress Miranda Richardson and the prize is an overnight stay in Paris.
Miranda is a game sort and often gets straight to first base, and though she plays hard the rules are soft.
If you are still in the dark, tune in to Virgin Radio today from 10am to 11am and you will hear an audio clue, which will shed further light on Miranda's hobby. You will also have a chance to enter the competition via Virgin itself, which is offering a second, identical prize.

The first correct entry chosen at random will win a night in Paris for two. After an overnight stay with dinner at Heathrow's Sheraton Skyline Hotel you will fly to Paris and book into the legendary Georges V hotel. The day is yours to enjoy and in the evening a taxi will take you to a Seine dinner cruise and return you to your hotel. The next day gives time for more exploring before flying back to Heathrow for a second night's stay at the Sheraton Skyline.
Virgin Radio, the thinking person's radio station, can be heard nationwide on 1215AM and 1197 - 1260AM/MW. In London and the Southeast it is available in stereo on 105.8FM. So turn on, tune in and win yourself a truly independent Saturday.
