Britain's art treasures: 12 posters for you to collect
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. The Independent has compiled a glossy poster series of a selection of the best paintings to be found in Britain today. This list has been chosen by our renowned art critic Tom Lubbock.
From Monday 12 February for 12 days we will be giving away a fantastic glossy poster with a large image of these great works of art with the print edition. On the reverse there is an analysis of each painting, a detailed history of the artist and details on where you can see the painting on display.
If you have missed one of our Britain's Art Treasure posters you can purchase back copies at the following address: www.read4charity.co.uk/artists. Subject to availability. While stocks last. Please note that you will only be able to purchase an item once it has appeared in the newspaper. 15 per cent of all revenue will be donated to Whizz Kidz - the charity that helps children with disabilities live a life with no limits.
