In its December issue online science and technology magazine Popular Science released a roundup of "the best of what's new in 2010," including products in the category of home technology.

Popular Science - http://www.popsci.com - has released the results of its "Best of What's New" awards for the past 23 years. This year the award-winning products under the category of "home tech" that are available internationally, either through regional subsidiaries, local stockists or by shipping, are:

The Neato Robotics XV-11 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner - the household cleaning device hoovers at random, negotiating its way around the room using infrared laser range findings which taking around 4,000 readings a second at a distance of 15 feet. http://neatorobotics.com

Lehr Propane-powered Eco Mower - This environmentally friendly alternative to a petrol-powered lawn mower exceeds American organization The Environmental Protection Agency's emissions standard by 60%. http://www.golehr.com
