The International Pet Centre, 360 Edgware Road, is London's oldest pet shop. It has a particularly good reptile collection, most of them bought by serious herpetologists. Costs escalate once you've bought the tank and the heating system (minimum pounds 95 for both). Beginners are recommended to start with a tree frog.
