Alex Rodriguez has addressed rumours that he and Jennifer Lopez went on a double-date with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

On Monday, the former baseball star appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he was asked to reveal details about the suspected dinner, which was reported to have taken place in Miami, Florida, last month.

“Did you and Jennifer Lopez recently go on a double-date with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle? And if so, who paid?” Fallon asked Rodriguez.

However, rather than giving a straight answer, the 44-year-old played coy, looking around the audience before responding: “I signed an NDA.”

The response prompted Fallon to conclude: “So that means you did,” to which Rodriguez again said: “Non-disclosure.”

“Yeah, alright. I’ll take that as you did,” Fallon said in response, before adding: “I would make him pay and her pay.”

In February, it was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dined with the celebrity couple shortly before making their first joint public appearance since announcing their decision to step back from royal duties at a private JPMorgan event.

During the event, Prince Harry gave a speech in which he discussed the loss of his mother and his decision to seek therapy, as well as his motivation for leaving the royal family.

Rodriguez’s apparent confirmation comes after Meghan and Harry concluded their royal duties with a final appearance alongside the rest of the royal family during Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey.
