Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull won the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, having started the race in pole position.

Britain's Lewis Hamilton finished in third place, behind Fernando Alonso, having qualified second on the grid; while Finnish rookie Valtteri Bottas could only place in 14th - having started third.

Britain's Paul Di Resta climbed from 17th to finish seventh, while Jenson Button finished 12th.
