Warm a frying pan (preferably non stick) and keep over a low-med heat. Cover the bottom of the pan with sunflower seeds sesame work just as well and pumpkin too or a mixture. Keep the seeds moving with a wooden spoon. Then, when they start making 'popping sounds' sprinkle tamari sauce over them to taste, stirring all the time. When they are medium brown colour, there is probably enough added. Keep roasting until crunchy and then leave on a plate to cool. ..

I just keep them in a jar and sprinkle them over all kinds of things. Really nice with low fat cottage cheese, instead of croutons on soup....with salad.... really tasty and quite a good salt alternative too.
