Princess Margaret visits the Bronte Parsonage Museum, Haworth, West Yorkshire; and as President, National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, visits Wm Morrisons Supermarket, Bradford, and accepts a cheque for funds raised for the society by the company's employees during the past year. The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Plan International, attends an exhibition to mark Plan International's 60th Anniversary at the Cafe Royal, London W1. The Duchess of Kent, Patron, visits the Yehudi Menuhin School, Stoke d'Abernon, Cobham, Surrey. Princess Alexandra, Vice- President, British Red Cross Society, undertakes engagements for the Bermuda Red Cross in Bermuda.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Grenadier Guards.
