In 2009, Art Miami will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The event will take place during Miami Art Week and will showcase contemporary artworks from over 80 international and local contemporary art galleries. Los Angeles Auto Show

One of the world's most important auto events, the 2008 version displayed 23 world debuts, the most in the exhibition's history. The list of world and North American debuts for this year is still being finalized but the latest Ford Fiesta, which has topped the bestseller list in Europe this year, will no doubt make a big splash. General admission for the public begins December 4. Tickets cost $12 for adults, $8 for seniors over 65 and free for children 12 and under when accompanied by an adult.

Marrakech Film Festival

The ninth edition of the Marrakech Film Festival in Morocco will welcome the Iranian director who won the Cannes Palme d'or in 1997, Abbas Kiarostami, as president of the jury. Every year, Marrakech honors the films from a specific country - Egypt in 2007 and Britain in 2008; this year Korean films will be feted as "one of the most dynamic in the world" according to the organizers.

6th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary art

The Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art is the only major exhibition to exclusively showcase contemporary art hailing from Asia, the Pacific and Australia. Paris Nautical Show
