Oscars Governors Awards

Collection: MOCA's First Thirty Years

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of MOCA more than 500 works by 200 artists, from Claes Oldenburg to Jackson Pollock, and many more, will be displayed in both locations: the main museum covers from 1940-1980 and 1980-present is shown at the Geffen galleries. Lady Gaga is scheduled to perform with the Bolshoi Ballet dancers at the gala event on November 14.

12th Dubai Airshow 2009

The Dubai Airshow, one of the top air shows in the world, is slated to grow from the previous edition despite the recession in world air travel. The biennial show returns to the Dubai Airport Expo Centre with 50,000 attendees expected to review over 900 exhibitors. Major manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus will be present and military planes such as the US Raptor fighter jet and the latest stealth jet will debut.
